Lead Pastors - Blake and Kristen Bush

  • At young ages, Blake and Kristen each felt a call of God to full time Christian ministry. They first met one another in 1988 while working at a Christian rafting company called Noah’s Ark Whitewater Rafting Company. They were married in 1990 and were hired that same year in a full time position as youth pastors at Good Shepherd Church in Loveland, Colorado. They spent ten years serving the teenagers in Loveland before receiving a call from God to pastor college students at Iasis Christ Fellowship in Fort Collins. It was at Iasis, through the Lead Pastor, they felt the call to plant Third Day in 2003 and have been serving there ever since. They have raised four kids (three sons and a daughter) who are serving the Lord with passion. They have added an amazing son-in-law to their family and are excited for their family to continue to grow. They both love to read and go on long prayer walks.  During their free time, Blake would choose backpacking, hunting, or chess. Kristen would choose to cook or talk with a friend over a warm mug of chai. They value deep relationships with friends and family, gathering around a table of delicious food, great conversation, and a competitive game or two! Pastor Blake and Kristen are zealous for the church, deeply believing it is God’s chosen vehicle through which the world will come to know Jesus Christ, the only way to an eternity with God. They are especially passionate about seeing the church become what it is called to be: A House of Prayer for all nations. Worship, prayer, and the study of Scripture are high priorities in their personal life and in the life of Third Day. After nearly three decades of ministry together, they are still excited about making disciples and seeing others walk into their God-given destiny of a ministry in the church and a mission to the world.

Pastors - Isaac and Serena Tyrrell

  • Isaac and Serena Tyrrell first met during their teenage years in the youth group where Pastor Blake and Kristen were youth pastors. During that season, Isaac made the best decision of his life, when he tricked Serena into their first date. She has blessed his life ever since! They spent 3 years as missionaries running an orphanage in Rwanda, Africa caring for 60 precious orphans.  After returning to the United States, they took on a leadership position at Third Day as pastors. Their heart and passion is in getting people connected and into community within the church. They also love all things missions.  They lead small group ministry and also play significant roles in other ministries at Third Day. Isaac works full time for JennCo Mechanical Solutions. They have a super cool son, named Henry, and are fostering to adopt two more amazing Tyrrell kids. They love the country life and live it well in the city through gardening, raising chickens, falconry, and homemaking. Serena is an amazing cook and everyone keeps an eye out for her food items at church gatherings. They are a much-loved part of our church body and are exceptionally gifted in hospitality and creating community.

Worship Director - Caden Bush

  • Called to worship at a young age, Caden played on the Third Day team throughout middle school and high school.  He was the Heritage Christian Academy worship leader for 2 years and began leading worship at Third Day during his senior year of high school.  He received training at Highlands College Worship school and stepped into the worship director role at Third Day in 2017.  Caden has a heart to build a deeper worship culture that encourages the body of Christ to engage and participate in worship from the heart. He loves vertical worship music that draws the church into the presence of God. Hillsong, Elevation Worship, and Bethel Music are some of his favorites. In his free time, Caden loves soccer, basketball, listening to sermons, and reading great Christian voices of the past and present. Ravenhill, Tozier, and  Chan inspire him. He works at Starbucks, currently attends Front Range and will begin an online education program at Arizona State University in 2018.  In addition to leading the worship team at Third Day, he leads a connect group for young adults.
